So today I was looking at my wife’s DJs dial and count help but notice how much the the dial color changes from a barker blue to a more ice blue.
Absolutely beautiful. So I asked her if I could see if I could capture the difference in pictures. Here are the result.

Very nice. In general, all the sunburst dials change, according to the available light source. I have the mint green DJ, that can look anywhere from grey to pale green, to an almost emerald green. Sunburst dials are lovely.

We saw a green dial DJ while we were at our AD, it is a beautiful dial they had for sale. I’ve compared Kari’s dial with our 1999 16613 Sub “ Blusey “ and the Blusey no matter what angle I take a picture from it always stays a very rich sunburst blue. Wonder if the newer 11 or 12 series sunburst Blusey have that effect? Very interesting.

Thank you , it is my wife’s birthday watch. It looks amazing on her wrist :)
The last four pictures I took were on my wrist. Personally I think it looks way better on my wife’s light skin tone than my dark complexion. But that’s just my opinion ;)

Your AD have a service dept. My SA sized my watch, wearing his suit. I took it home and fine tuned it.

Hey Kat are you familiar with what happened with our AD here in Palm Desert Ca. The only AD in our area was family owned they are now owned by Bucherer. Things have changed there since I bought my last timepiece. I’m sure now they are starting to do things “their way” not saying it’s bad or anything like that.
Just different than my last experience. I’ve never purchased and Bucherer / Tourneau so I’m not familiar with their process. But they do now have Carlo. Not sure if they have a full service center.
The previous owners used to send everything out to Dallas.

Ok so after spending a week with this beautiful DJ the only con I’ve found is there is no lume. Everything else checks all the boxes for me but it’s not mine. My wife says it is perfect and she doesn’t care one bit about the lume. I told her if it works for the DD Romans it works for the DJ right? lol
