18038/18238 Day-Date Disc Change

Currently Rolex service has my YG 18238 and I am doing a dial upgrade from champagne tapestry to black string diamond dial with no gold on the dial.

I had asked the service desk in Beverly Hills to also swap the day and date discs when the dial is swapped so the background of the day and date is white not yellow or off white , as it is now, which would look better with a gold dialed watch.

Rolex said they can’t replace the day date discs on my watch because they were not offered for my YG model.

It would be easier for me to read the date and date if the discs were white and I also think they would look better as white with the new black dial.

Do you all have any sources for day date discs for 18038/18238 ?

I assume any watch maker near Los Angeles can do the changes or parts easily.

After the day and date discs are changed, I know I can’t have Rolex service my watch because they will remove those non compatible discs.

Thank you

Should be easy to find in many locations. (eBay, C24, classifieds here on TRF and on VRF.
How much they charge for the black string diamond dial?

Thank you. $9,700.00 no service required since it was just done 1.8 months ago. Going to take 12-16 weeks to get watch back.
