Tudor Submariner 94110 Questions
Hello,
I'm currently in the market for a Tudor 94110 snowflake and I had the opportunity to check out a few watches while I was out in Japan. One thing I realized is that a few of the watches had silver date wheels whereas the others had white date wheels. I'm curious as to which one is actually original to the watch? Also does an early 80s snowflake ever come with a Mk4 flat 4 bezel? |

Don’t think there is such a thing as silver 9411 date wheel.

Early /0 models came with a white wheel, followed by mid 70s 94110 with a silver wheel, followed by 79 and later with a gorgeous brushed silver wheel. All our original depending on year.
Early 80s, would likely be a service insert if it's a flat 4

Thanks for all the responses. It's really helpful in my search for a 94110.
Another question I have is how to tell whether the dial is original dial or service dial? Is that based on the line of text below 6 o 'clock? |

There are several different determinations on dials depending on the serial number which determines if they are original or not. It can be texture color color, certain font spacing, certain size of shield, and various combinations thereof. Then there is different fonts based on year, based on dial color, whether black or blue.

No. The variations are not documented yet.
