Rolex 61973 rotor spin when winding

I have just replaced the rotor axle on my wife’s watch movement 2135
Sometimes when I first start to wind it the rotor spins
What have I done wrong?

Looks like the axle is snapped off...

Then your picture adds no value to this thread.

Your reversing wheels are probably worn out which is why the rotor is spinning, or end shake of any of the parts in the automatic module are too tight.
