Service crystals do not have the "S" anymore.

At the right angle the LEC can look weird bc each etching is not at the exact same depth by Rolex standard. This is what makes the LEC so hard to copy bc only Rolex knows how deep each one is. You can see this with a nice laboratory microscope.
