Sounds like a unique scenario to most others and my own personal experience. The only time I’ve seen a queue was in downtown Tokyo at the Rolex AD before opening time (a year ago). The best I could understand was you get allocated a time slot on entry to come back during the day.

So it wasn't an AD visit, just an AD walk past. :)
It seems weird to me about there being an AD of high end watches in an (I'm assuming) enclosed mall. One of our AD is in an open area of a mostly outside, walk about shopping area. The other is a stand alone building. The idea of being in an enclosed mall, making a purchase, and trying to leave the store and mall.... gives me the creeps. How many creeps are hanging out watching who leaves with a bag? 10.5 months a year it is not busy in the local AD locations here. Holidays are crazy. |
