Are these uneven lugs from polishing?

Hi, I was wondering if this is a sign of polishing as the top right lug one seems longer than the top left one, and the bottom left lug seems longer than bottom right one? Also the left bottom lug seems to be dropping a bit lower than the other side. The top right lug (left lug in 3rd and 4th photos) also appears a bit slimmer than the top left one. The watch was listed as Like NOS and still has the case back sticker but no box and papers. Thanks.

The lugs on most all of the Rolex lineup on the crown side were always slightly thinner especially on the 5 series serials, bracelet has quite a bit of wear but still serviceable, and watch definitely not NOS.

Okay I see. Do you think it was polished? I bought from a reputable dealer so took his word on the condition, but seems it isn’t really NOS.

Yes it's been polished like most all watches of the age if they were serviced in there life at correct service intervals.

Polished like crazy! Not particularly "uneven" though.

Only a real crook would advertise that as NOS...

The case doesn’t look to bad but it does look like it’s polished. This isn’t NOS and also not like NOS. But if you don’t like the condition then move on.

The description of the seller is so far from the truth. I would not buy from such a business ever

Definitely not NOS. Maybe the bezel but it doesn't match the poorly polished case and saggy bracelet.

the fact that the fluted bezel looks mint while the watch looks like that makes it even weirder. probably replaced? either way not NOS

Thanks everyone. How can you tell it’s polished? What are the key giveaways?

Like NOS is misleading and possibly intentionally deceptive.

I would pass based on the way it’s described alone.

I'm not sure what "Like new old stock" even means. Is that like "almost a virgin"?

The asymmetry of the lugs, both in thickness and length. It’s very obvious that this watch is NOT at all like NOS!

True, didn’t know the bezel seems NOS. But if it is, this got me thinking that maybe the watch could be NOS, but looks like everyone’s saying it’s been polished.
