And why. Thanks

For me (but not most) its the oyster. The jubilee with the fluted bezel is just too much

Fluted on oyster looks off to me. I’ll go with jubilee.

Fluted with jubilee would be my choice.

I have the oyster and wanted to add the jubilee. I tried to buy a jubilee bracelet but no go… Rolex isn’t selling them anymore (things heard from an AD). Maybe my AD just can’t deliver. Maybe I have a case of “wanting what I can’t have” but the oyster still is great and I have zero regrets.

Get both bracelets. It's a good mix up.

Oyster. It lets the large fluted bezel/ring command be the star of the show.

In the past it's been oyster or bust for me, but I've since seen the light--I saw a BLRO on Jubilee at a grey dealer in person and my AD has a green SkyD on jubilee and they both looked fantastic.

I love the president bracelet and the jubilee wears similar. I've since updated my requests at the AD's for watches that come with either that I'll take first available.

Most sports models come on Oyster bracelet. The fluted bezel and the Jubilee work so well together and make the watch stand out.

Both wear comfortably but the Jubilee is more comfortable. If absolute maximum wearing comfort is the priority you'll want a Jubilee. Comfort also depends on good bracelet and clasp adjustment. All my Sky Dwellers have needed a little bit of fiddling about with to get the fit just so.

If aesthetics and visual balance factor in it's totally down to personal taste. I think green, champagne and blue dials go better with Jubilee. Black and grey go better with Oyster. White goes with either. But that's just what I think.

As to which variant is best, they all are. Take your pick. If you don't know which one to buy next maybe you don't want one as much as you think? Lots of alternatives out there. The AT GMT World Timer is one that springs immediately to mind.

I currently own the blue, white and black SS Sky-Dwellers. I bought the black and white on the oyster bracelet and later ordered the jubilee bracelet from my AD. Took forever but they eventually showed up. I bought the blue dial on the jubilee this time so I did not have to get it through my AD. I have been told that Rolex has paused the sale of jubilee bracelets as they do not currently have the inventory to supply them. Maybe? I prefer the jubilee because of the appearance and wear.

Tough choice. The jubilee is supremely comfortable … if you don’t already own a reference with jubilee, I’d try it on this one

That's an interesting perspective. I think I totally agree with you.

Maybe it's a question of the sunburst dial visually balancing better with the jubilee, with the others being a bit overwhelmed by the jubilee?

I prefer the Oyster due to the size of the watch.

If I’m not mistaken, the SD has 22mm lug. If you own an Explorer II, then naturally it came on Oyster. Getting the Jubilee would offer the option of putting the Exp Oyster on the SD when you wanted.

jubilee

for SkyD, I went with the jubilee because:

(1) jubilee bracelet plays well with the fluted bezel, and just has an amazing sheen in the right light.
(2) most comfortable bracelet I've owned

I've had plenty of oyster bracelets before, both PCL's and brushed, and the jubilee is the winner

Jubilee for me. Putting an oyster bracelet on a watch with a fluted bezel just looks off to me. JMO!

Difficult to pin it down but your thinking sounds logical.

Jubilee Bracelet is a comfortable feel and such a classy look, imo.

The Sky Dweller is Rolex's most complicated watch and I feel one of the best looking that got better with the jubilee bracelet.

This Saturday, I was luck enough to get my new Sky Dweller - Jubilee all the way.
