New frosted RO minis - how hard to get?

Does anybody have any sense already how hard the new frosted 23mm RO will be to get? My wife is quite intrigued by them, particularly the WG model. I found so far that usually ladies models aren’t that hard to get, but the new CEO clearly has switched on the influencer marketing for these.

Curious to see how much they will ramp up production here, and how much demand there really is for women’s watches. Given the complex frosting process I kind of assume they won’t be that frequent.

I’ve signaled to my SA that we’d like to see them in the flesh, so will report back.

I’m hearing from multiple boutiques (including my home boutique) that they’re quite difficult to get. We had the chance to see them in person recently and they’re gorgeous!

I haven’t been paying much attention to watches lately. Did an AP boutique open in Houston?

Ah no, I live in Houston but my “home boutique” is AP House NY.

OK, thanks. Kind of amazes me the closest to Houston is Dallas. I was in L.A. earlier this year and the AP boutique told me that I should deal with the boutique in Dallas. Zero interest in my business, though it isn’t as if they need it.

You have a much better chance than any of us to get these pieces. I always have the best luck when I’m in Europe (Except for Monaco)

Don’t think they’ll be hard to get. Was asked what colors I wanted

Was told that the 34mms are way harder to get compared to the minis

Yes, my wife is quite intrigued by them as well. We’re waiting to see what they look like in the flesh.

Will see next week if my wife likes them - I thought they looked quite cute, but more into the bracelet rather than the watch category.

You might be in luck next year - the CEO was featured in a rather influential business monthly a week ago, and when pressed about what could be next under her helm, she hinted at jewelry as a logical extension of the collection for the big anniversary :-)

The amount of hate AP is going to get for that will be hilarious.

I think they'll be fine so long as it's a small tasteful collection. They've had cufflinks for ages, and used to produce women's rings, so it's not like they have no history with jewelry.

I wouldn’t mind if they had some pieces from people related to the brand, like Carolina Bucci for example. Would be a great option to pair with other frosted finish watches like the mini

Weird, the bezel screw near the 10 facing the wrong way in the shot of the yellow gold one. Surprised that got past them!

Edit - it’s off on the first photo in one of APs marketing shots too! Whoops! https://www.instagram.com/p/C8Mm8Zpi...E3ODZxemwwcw==
