Tudor Black Bay 54 Return?

Wanted to see from the forum what to expect from my AD - I purchased a Tudor BB 54 back in January for my son's 30th birthday next month. I probably purchased it too early, but we gave it to him last night and he does not like it. How do you expect the AD to handle a request to return/exchange the watch? Given it was 6 months, I am curious what their policy might be?

Thanks

Darn. Sorry to hear, Vance. I have no idea what the AD will say, but given it’s basically unworn, perhaps they’ll be open to exchanging it for a watch your son likes? Hopefully they are understanding. Good luck.

That was a generous gift. A great watch. What a shame.

I never thought an AD would do an exchange on such items let alone after six months. I guess it depends on your relationship but it does seem like a big ask.

I already heard back from the AD via email and she shared they will exchange it! Given he wants something vintage, not sure they will have something to exhcnage it for, but I can put it towards the Daytona I am on the waitlist for :-)

It sure beats the 20%+ a resale would have cost me if I had to resell it!

I thought the watch looked great on him, but he has very specific tastes. I really like the watch, with it's size, vintage look and T-lock adjustable band, it is a great watch for the price.

Very tricky to buy a watch as a gift w/o knowing the preferences. Good of the AD to take it back. Never thought they would.
