My wife wanted to go to mall… incoming

So I decided to swing by the Boutique. Ended up with a double…. Almost a triple, but I passed on the white dial Speedmaster. I was shocked by how much I like the Planet Ocean. It’s different than anything else I have in my collection. What a fun day!

I was tempted, but I had spent enough for the day. Especially when I hadn’t planned on buying anything. I guess that’s how it goes.

For now… he said if I changed my mind it would be 2 weeks. I can live with that. It didn’t grab me like I thought it would, but still a cool watch so you never know.

I love no date 300m's..

Great pick up, I think that PO will be a major conversation starter.

Congrats!

Nice catch, an available 60th Bond was just sitting there available to purchase?

Congratulations! I've tried on TWICE that "sand" PO. I really like it a lot. Like you, I went in for the new white Speedmaster, but found myself more interested in the new PO especially that sand color. I'm still on the fence. How's the comfort so far?

Very nice. I really like that rubber strap on the Planet Ocean.

Thanks everyone. I am really happy with the two I bought, especially when I hadn’t planned on buying anything. The Planet Ocean is definitely my favorite at the moment. So comfortable to wear and really interesting colors. I have to say that I found it interesting they had all three available, although it was the 2nd time within a few days that I had seen the Bond in stock. (Different dealer). Also that the white Speedy was only a couple of weeks lead time.

Anyway, thanks again for the great responses

Very cool. First incoming I've seen on the new PO. I'm surprised you were able to resist the hat trick.

If my other half went to a few shops and came back to find I’d bought two more watches, I can only imagine the row I would get… might discourage her from shopping as much right enough.

Congrats - enjoy!

Congratulations!! Two very nice pieces. I'm amazed at how similar in size they appear. The Bond at 42mm and the PO at 43.5mm. Omega does a great job making the PO wear like the 42mm Bond. I recall once reading a review that focused on the design and compared the dimensions of each and bottom line.... the PO wore very much like the 300m, especially on the strap.

The sand color is very attractive.

Thanks. I’m extremely happy with both. It’s probably a little bit due to the camera angle, as the PO is definitely bigger. That said it wears very comfortably and the strap is one of the best I have owned.

And yes, I love the color of the PO. Different than anything else in my collection and it also gets the most comments.

LOL, that's why I just avoid the boutique in general. Too much temptation!
