15550st vs 16202st on 6.5 inch wrist

I received my 37mm RO yesterday thru grey and the dial/case fits me pretty well. See attached picture. Its not too big nor too small.

I guess what I didn't like too much was the tapering of the bracelet towards the clasp. My wife said it kind of looks dainty.

I also know that the jumbo doesnt fit all wrist since the lugs go out a bit further.

But did anyone with small wrist chose the 37mm over the jumbo in terms of better fit? Wish I could try on the jumbo but they didnt have that at the boutique for me to try on

it's personal preference. I've had a couple 39mm AP's and they fit how i feel an AP is intended to fit.

I also tried on a 15550 at AP Dallas and it just felt like it was missing something

Edit: my wrist is 6.75 inches

Looks great in the picture. I do know that the bracelet tapers more than even the 38mm ones so that will come down to personal tastes. But typically you'll get used to whatever is on your wrist.

Looking at your photo, I’d say that the 15550 is a great fit.

I’d expect that over time you’ll also find the narrower bracelet leads to enhanced comfort, plus it adds to the watches elegant appeal

This….. for me the comfort wins out as long as you like the way the watch looks on wrist / up top.

37 looks great on you. I think jumbo would fit you too. might be worth checking out a local gray dealer to check up on sizing

I also have a 6.5" wrist and I struggle with finding the perfect AP ... the 15300/25860 39mm models have good case proportions, the flaring lugs just make it a bit too large - on rubber they are great, but that sort of defeats the purpose, since the bracelet is why you'd want an AP ;)

This looks perfect on your wrist. People get too fixated on "37mm" but the RO 37mm fits more like a Rolex 40mm

Looks great! 16202 will wear only slightly bigger, but the difference is the 16202 feels a bit more vintage, it is definitely slimmer on the case and bracelet.

I would say stick with the 15550 it looks perfect on you.

Another option would be a 38MM ROC, that will fit nicely between the two and optically looks less dainty with the pushers. My wrist is slightly bigger than yours, not by much, at ~6.75". I found the 37mm dial just too small even though the case works. 38/39 is perfect for me and the 41 too big. Jumbo will always be my favorite, it is perfectly proportioned IMO.

Blue dial 15202or, don't believe they made a RG black dial jumbo until the black ombre dial in the 16202OR.
