Another GMT Master II from same AD?

After having purchased a GMT Master II from an AD is it wise/ok to register for another GMT II (soon) afterwards at the same AD?
The SA might think to himself/herself: "How greedy, the guy already has a nice BLNR and now wants a BLRO. What is the point of it all? He has spent quite a bit of money with us and we'll register his interest in this watch. But no, he won't be getting the BLRO for the next 5 years. There are plenty of other people waiting on their first GMT Master II".

What are your thoughts and experiences on this topic?

Got a sprite and a Bruce Wayne 12 months after from the same AD, so definitely worth a shot!

I don’t see that as greedy and I think to be honest at most ADs you’ll need a big spend history. The blnr and BLRO do look different. Perhaps request the BLRO on the other bracelet? That would give killer variety.

Good luck!

There are lots of people who collect multiple GMTs on this forum and elsewhere. I see nothing wrong with getting multiple variations. Variety. By all means, ask your S/A

They may not prioritize, but I would ask for an Oyster bracelet if you have a Jubilee, and visa versa, to make it “different”.

I got a 116710 BLNR in mid 2018, Then a 126710 BLNR in mid 2023, and then a VTNR in like September of 2023. All from the same AD. It can happen, ask nicely.

I wouldn't say greedy but a little suspicious. Last thing you want is for them to think you're flipping.

I am on my third GMT II from the same AD; started with the CHNR, then hot the BLRO, and just this January got the VTNR.

You joined TRF in 2014!

Follow-up once every few months with your AD, and good luck.

Got a BLNR and a Sprite at my AD - BLRO Next.

Maybe point out it's your favourite line at Rolex? Or get it with another bracelet?

If you do not ask, I don't think they are just going to offer it to you. What does it matter what they think as long as you get the watch you want? Good luck.

Ask for what you want. If you don't ask you don't get.

I did it yesterday - so we are in the same boat.

I got a Sprite Jubilee back in May - and really love it. Went back in yesterday and requested a Batman - Rationale: Love GMTs and the oyster bracelet and Blue & Black Bezel is variety.

Here’s hoping for all of us on this quest.
