Incoming - 5320g

After going back and forth between 5320g and 5172g, I finally pulled the trigger on the former. To make it more casual and wear it more, I put it on the nubuck strap with a pin buckle for now.

Both 5172 and 5320 are examples of outstanding design by Patek. Congrats!

Amazing, what a wonderful watch. Congratulations on this stunner! Love the fact that it is so versatile as well, despite quite formal/dressy elements such as the ‘triple step’ lugs. Looks equally amazing to me with a suit or with a pair of jeans.

Curious about what made you pull the trigger on the 5320g instead of the 5172g as you can’t go wrong with either of them.

I’d say collection fit, i.e I prefer diversity (metals, colors, complications, etc.). Although not a manual-wind, I have a couple of other chronos in my small collection (Daytona and ROC). 5320 is my first QP.

Having said that, I just tried on 5172g while on vacation on Switzerland, I think blue dial will be my next Patek sometime in the future.

A 5320 and 5172 would make for a brilliant mini-collection. Do it! 😀

Congrats OP!! I love my 5320G. Try out a glossy grey crocodile strap some time for the ultimate in versatility. It's the best, you can dress it up and down.

Thank you! Do you have a pic of yours on it by any chance?

Hahaha. I do love how these either/or decisions turn out. Ultimately get both!

Congrats on the 5320. Looking forward to seeing the 5172 when you get it :)

Congrats! I'm giving this one some serious thought these days. Was thinking of a 5212A but this one looks so much cleaner, just as versatile with straps and can be had for a bargain secondary.

I also looked at 5212A, but I think 5320 is so much more from history, complication, etc. perspective. And yes, a great deal can be found on secondary.

5320G - One of the best Pateks IMO but depreciation from new was / is, VERY painful.

Compare the current list price to the Grey prices.
