Rolex Back From AD Servicing
After my 2009 116710LN experienced a significant internal malfunction, I brought it to my Denver-area based AD for a full service.
The AD gave the option to send to RSC or service in-house at their Rolex Certified Service Center. Same price list. The last time I had a Rolex serviced with this AD, they referred to their service center as a branch of the Dallas RSC. This time they made no such connection. Nevertheless, my previous service experience with this AD was better than my experience with the Dallas RSC (similar but the AD seemed to understand what I meant by ‘light’ polish.) I picked up my watch today, in this fancy little pouch. The Rolex warranty card, which looks blank, is NFC enabled, so, when placing it near my phone, brought me to the Rolex website with all the details of my recent service, including the serial number of my watch. I did opt for the light polish. Life is short. Completely overhauled and a new crystal, it’s looking pretty pristine in my humble opinion. More importantly, it’s working great!
