Finally Saw Mint Green Skydweller in Person:

What a beautiful watch. I really thought it would be larger. The dial is so nice. I preferred the color to the blue, which I’ve seen, but not handled. The SA (mine was off) explained how to set the annual calendar, and how to read the month. This one is set for October. If this watch were smaller, I would seriously consider it. My Explorer 1 36 is still not in. I was assured the next one is for me, and it will not go on display, before I get the call. I was given Issue 12 of the Magazine, which they recently got delivered:

So, a pleasant visit, as always. The manager thanked me for hanging out with them for awhile.

I was on the waiting list for the green one, but then I was offered the blue one. I am pleased that I chose the blue one.

I like the mint green on any of the models.

I really like it. Will get one supposedly. But would rather have a 5726 if that’s even remotely achievable in my lifetime.

Me, too. It’s a great color! I saw the blue on Jubilee on a previous visit, and it looked great, but this green is a cut above, IMO.

I find the mint green dial to be a bit washed out. Does depend on the lighting. I’d like to see it a deeper color.

The lighting wasn’t the best at my AD, but the pic is a pretty good representation. Remember it’s “mint green”. I can see your point of view, though.

It took me awhile to warm up to them. I thought they were too large for a lot of wrists. Seeing it on my own wrist changed my mind. It must be the pics we all take that make them appear to wear larger than they actually do. I wouldn’t wear one, on my wrist, but I wish that I could. I can ALMOST pull it off, but not quite…sigh!

I don’t see why not, kat. I would think that’s really cool and unique on a woman. My wife wears a 40dd and 41dj and they look great on her in my opinion. What’s another millimeter! Especially in green it’s a decent asset. Tell them you changed your mind!!

Wow, That’s a beautiful Sky Dweller. It’s next up on my “list”, 😂

Hoping I get the call tomorrow… also 😂

I’m surprised that my rather small AD has gotten 2 in the last few months. The blue one wasn’t on exhibition very long. Both were on Jubilee. Someone is going to be a happy camper.

Rolex is getting watches out there these days.
I have a buddy that was on the waiting list for a blue dial skydweller and got a call about the green and took it. I looks great! Would I trade my blue dial for it, no, but it is handsome. It is a lot more pale mint than in pics imo, not as rich as the 11 LV Sub dial. Thanks for posting Kat.

Little over my budget. List is $16,000 plus tax. That’s about $6,000 more than I will spend on any one watch, though my Wimbledon went over budget.

It really is stunning, and when I saw it, I had to check it out. The only other watch I tried on was the Explorer 1 40, to reassure myself that the 36 is the better choice, for me. We were all in agreement on that.

Finally Saw Mint Green Skydweller in Person:

I also love the SkyDweller… at first I also thought they looked too big, but my girlfriend saw a mint green one on Junilee in a AD window whilst we were on vacation and she loved it so much she got me to try Sky Dwellers later on. I was lucky enough that my AD has a few as display and some others on CPO so I got to try blue / green / black and white dial, some on jubilee and some on oyster. The green looks amazing but does not work out with my skin tone…. The blue though, i fell in love with. OK I also do happen to love blue so maybe a bit of bias here.
In any case, i am on the list for a blue dial on jubliee + extra oyster bracelet.
Now let us see how long it takes, probably a long time, but that is ok, gives me time to save and hopefully will get the Batman I have been waiting for in the meantime :)

This is watch that I can totally see why others fancy. I think it’s really cool. I love fluted bezels, large watches, and jubilee bracelets. Although I love a GMT complication , for whatever reason the centered 24H circular wheel just seems off to me. Then again, I choose vanilla ice cream in a fridge full of flavors.

Maybe I need to see more of them in the flesh. There have been plenty of watches that didn’t speak to me initially that I ended up loving in due time.

Good story and pics Kat, I think you could probably pull it off, but I understand your hesitancy.

I had the same mental block until I tried one on and saw for myself that it wasn't the size of a dinner plate and fitted me comfortably. The green is nice. I prefer blue by a mile, then grey, black and white, but it's good to have the choice. The more the better. Apart from its aesthetics, the real cleverness of the Sky Dweller comes from how the complications are displayed and how easy it is and use and set.

Looks great in green but I’d happily have one in any colour. Stupid question what’s with the text on the dial? Or is it the photo distorting it?

I was offered one last time at my AD - Didn’t like the green at all. The blue on other hand. That’s the one for me.

They're great watches. My favorite and my second is the OF version!!! Fits my smaller wrist a bit better.
