I have both the Submariner ND and the BLNR on Jubilee. I have more than a few watches so it does not impact me to add or delete but the Submariner ND is the base of my collection and all others would go before it. With that said, the BLNR and the BLRO are two that I do enjoy but they get about 1/10th the wear of the 124060.

Well, I think it just boils down to the vibe you're going for...a little bling-ier for the GMT, and a little more toned down with the sub.
Ideally, I think they would complement each other really well in a collection. You just can't beat a sub for daily wear and the usefulness of the diver's bezel. But, for those times you want something a little snazzier, (or heaven forbid you actually need to cross a time zone lol) then the GMT is just about darn near perfect for that niche. So...of course I'm gonna say both. But, if that's not your option, then you're just going to have to decide on the vibe you want. Good luck, |

I have a 16710 GMT with all three bezels. If I have the BLRO on it for too long, I get “bored.” Can’t get much more exciting than BLRO |

I had the sub but after a couple of months the all black did get a bit boring. I didn't realize how much I liked color until the BLNR.

Love the BLNR! In a lot of lighting conditions it is tough to see the blue on the bezel so it looks very similar to the Sub. It is just different enough, as there are too many homages out there of the Sub!

I have thew sub no date and got a Pepsi on jubilee a few days. The thing that annoys me about the Pepsi compared to the sub is the lack of the glidelock - the sub fits absolutely perfectly but I can't get the Pepsi to fit right - too tight with another link out, sometimes too loose with it in and the easy link extension is just too big to be useful when your wrist swells in my opinion.
Otherwise I was say the GMT wears a LOT smaller than the sub. |

@rianosha
I feel the same, I’ve had subs previously and could always get the perfect fit with the glidelock but on GMT jubilee BLNR that I have now it’s normally slightly too tight or too loose hard to get bang on perfect. Do you think you will stick with the Pepsi or it will annoy you too much on sizing? |

Learn how to use the GMT function and these two are iconic.

I have BLNR (oyster), Sub 124060, and Sub 126610LV. I love the no-date sub, and it gets the most wrist time. The LV is next. I like the BLNR, but it’s third among three for me.
The 124060 is a classic, balanced, beautiful, functional, and ultimately cool watch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I’d go sub. Your write up leans more towards the blnr though..
Get the one you like better. I also agree that you’ll end up with both anyway. |

I love no date subs and have had a couple (modern and 5 digit), but if you want that pop of colour, another endorsement for a current gen LV
The BLNR is also incredible, but sounds like you are more of a sub guy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a 12 series Sub Date and love it, and it is currently my only nice watch. I keep cycling through different watches that I would like as my second nice watch, and I keep coming back to the BLNR on jubilee. So I guess I'm like a few others on here in the "both" camp.

Same. The GMT is more dressy/business friendly, but a sub works there, too

I’ve had both the BLNR and Sub LN. Both on oyster. In lower light conditions they actually appear very similar from a distance. Obviously, when you take them outside or in bright light the stunning blue bezel of the BLNR stands out. I ended up parting with the BLNR though as I sometimes felt the numbers on the bezel were just too large and almost cartoonish. To me, it made the watch less suitable for formal occasions despite the PCLs. Kept the Sub and while I definitely miss the BLNR at times the sub is a more versatile watch for my lifestyle.

Decided to get both. They should be here before February. :-)
I think I’ll just sell the one I wear less. |

The Sub ND is THE perfect everyday watch IMO. It's a timeless classic. Gets the job done, has class and style, but not all the flash of a colored bezel / two-tone watch.

I have both the BLNR (oyster) and Sub. I'll say GMT > Sub 99% of the time for me. Only thing the Sub has over the BLNR is the clasp and lack of cyclops / date for me... I'll never utilize the 300m WR and multi timezones are more important than the timing bezel in my everyday life.
