Well gang, after seeing and trying this on at the Rolex AD in the Rome Airport a few weeks back, I bought one.
It was one of those watches that once I tried it on, I knew I had to have it. I had the 126713GRNR, the two tone GMT, which I really liked for about six months and decided to trade that into a full yellow gold. This 126718GRNR just impressed me when I tried it on. I wanted to buy it in Rome that day I tied it on, but I told my wife I was going for a walk in the shopping area of the Rome Airport to stretch my legs after an 8 hour flight. My executive decision making on the spot said to sleep on it as I may raise an eyebrow with my wife and kids. Here goes Dad again. Anyway, this watch has been on my mind since so I made the move. So far, such a pretty watch and it has hints of vintage and new age.

You know me too well Brian! I think you hinted at that on a post somewhere here. The full gold jubilee bracelet softens the appearance of the watch compared to the full gold oyster bracelet with PCL...the PCL on the jubilee gift a look similar to the presidential bracelet. The two-tone bezel also adds a special look and feel.

Congrats. Somehow full gold version looks miles better than two tone on this reference. Grey side of the bezel seems so more vivid and eye catching.

I am following you in how the comfort and daily wear the 18k Jubilee brings to the table. Does it help mitigate the additional weight by being more flexible around the wrist, etc…. ?? It does in SS so it has to be a larger advantage in PM.
I have always had a hard time with the weight of the 18K Sub on oyster.
