Went shopping yesterday, planned to get YM 42mm, ended up with ...

Hey gang, after a few weeks of consideration, I finally decided to purchase the YM 42mm in white gold. I made an appointment and went to the dealer yesterday. I was already wearing the YM when I asked to see the new Daytona on Oysterflex that they had in stock.

I tried it on...and it was incredible.

I’ve never owned a Daytona before; I’ve always been into my YMs, Submariners, and GMTs. We had already signed the paperwork for the YM, but after trying on the white gold Daytona, I asked the dealer to cancel the original paperwork and instead bring me the box and papers for the Daytona.

What a watch! I’m so excited to wear it as my 40th birthday gift to myself!

Congrats! I picked up a WG OF Daytona recently, also. They are INCREDIBLE watches. I'm un-surprised to hear you fell in love as soon as it was on the wrist. :-)

Wear in good health, and many happy returns for your big 4-0.

The Daytona is well……a “Daytona” and speaks for itself.

Thanks soo much for positive feedback and bday wishes guys!!
I was never a diamond fan, until I saw this special dial tho.. it's not that in-Your-face blingy, it's more of a under the radar, ellegant piece. So happy with this purchase, been only 24h but I already can't take it off!
