James Martin rocking a Blueberry

Looks like James Martin is wearing a 1675 Blueberry today on his show!

He must be a fan I’m sure I’ve seen him sporting a Daytona or two in the past.

Big Rolex fan and has a huge collection, as I understand it.

Clearly this is proof positive of the Blueberry authenticity ;)

Lee, how about some info on James Martin. Who is he, what show, what country etc etc.

I did see a British chef on Google by that name.

Popular TV chef in the UK. Not one of Michelin's finest but highly accomplished and perhaps the nation's favourite TV chef, these days: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Martin_(chef)

Very much into his cars and watches

Not sure I would rely on a TV cook to validate a controversial blue circle of aluminium

I do love a celebrity that dabbles in watches.... usually paying someone to do their bidding or getting in front of the queue of contemporary releases to flash it on a show on TV to help AD chain in their marketing shenanigans.

Gotta tell you many Vintage dealers salivate at the prospect of a celeb.....one of my dealer acquaintances, who will remain nameless, somewhat shamelessly perhaps, sold a LOT of a lackluster 1964-78 professional stock to two very high profile, dilettante collector, Manchester United footballers a decade ago - although with 2017-2022 price rises they probably still did ok!

This Hitherto lowly Pastry chef, who has done well, I've seen sporting mostly contemporary Daytona and GMT on his Saturday morning TV show, so it's nice he is getting a bit of vintage taste in his dotage....

Mind you, in the world I know a lot more about than about watches, (Classic cars) he's considered a soft touch - and his 275 GTS, is very much, not something I'd put in my collection!

I remember that too. I think a valve broke or something before they'd even set off.

The way he went off on one it could have been a heart valve

I think his heart valves will be nicely lubricated with all the butter.

It’s the put-together trifecta: red hand, radial dial, blue insert! What more could you add…maybe a cool back story, too?

He had it on again today - maybe they shoot shows back-to-back but he's clearly very happy with it!
