I won one of the earlier raffles, but in thinking about it more deeply, and analyzing it from the standpoint of a watch I would wear often, I concluded that it wasn't really me. So I told MB&F that I would pass.
This is all based on my conclusions about what I would really wear. BTW, this reasoning would apply to even the super high-end MB&F models. I just wouldn't be able to wear those kinds of watches without feeling a bit self-conscious about it. These are not under the radar pieces. If anything, I kinda feel like these are more display pieces that wearable watches. It's just me. I'm sure there are those who can afford the Legacy Machines, for example, do wear them and end up being conversation pieces. |

C'mon. Don't tell me this doesn't look like the crown jewels....and I don't mean the jewelry they hide in the Tower of London.

At first I was mad it didn't have minutes, let alone seconds, but then I thought....what a nice weekend watch that's slim and frivolous where I don't need to know if I'm going to be 2 minutes late to the grocery store.
Glad to see they did the pre check on CC and giving the previous losers a higher chance of winning. Good luck to all who entered! |

I struck out 3 times and was able to purchase the green lucky clover. Does that mean I have increased chances for the Slim or lower chances because I was allocated the clover hmm

The watch kind of reminds me of an upside-down, sideways MeisterSinger.
Now what I can't figure out is if I should enter and hope to win.... or enter and hope to lose..... so I get 2 chances at the M.A.D. 2? Any suggestions would be appreciated. :-) |

Is the draw already complete? The reservation on my card has already been withdrawn, it said that it would be held until the draw is complete.
Should I take that to mean I didn't win?

Drawing is still a couple days away. But, I noticed the charge has disappeared from my credit card account also. |

Purple is only for Tribe and Friends & Family. You do not enter the raffle as it is allocated. Similarly, the first version which was in blue was also only for the Tribe and F&F.

So, two different times indicated in Mb&f communications. Midnight sept 2 cest (so, a few hours ago) and sept 3.
Is sept 3 the announcement/communication and sept 2 the draw? Anyone receive any indication they’ve been selected? Not holding my breath… |

I’ve heard nothing, but I’ve lost every time.
My guess is raffle closed at midnight Sept. 2 CEST—no more entries. And then will be done on the next day. But maybe the winners already know… |

From the email:
"...the results are shared on Tuesday, September 3rd, at 2pm CEST." So, that is 14:00 CET or GMT+1 on Sep 3rd. |

“Your bank will temporarily reserve the amount until the raffle concludes on Monday, September 2nd, at midnight CEST.” So some ambiguity because of this… but I think they simply miswrote what actually occurs… unless someone here experienced a change triggered at midnight Sept 2 (cest). |
