Incoming! (Walk in)

Had a long weekend trip to Manchester and spent some time wondering around a few of the ADs looking at various brands and models

I mentioned in one (a regional northern AD) that I’d been waiting for quite a long time for an Explorer 36 (from a national AD) and the sales associate said she had an Explorer 40 on display and if I’d like to try it on. So I did and found it suited me equally as well as the 36. After trying on a few more Rolexes, mostly two tone datejusts, the SA said that if neither of the two people who were on the waitlist for the Explorer had responded to her calls by Sunday she’d sell it to me.

I had to admit I thought my chances were slim however upon going back in on Sunday morning I was in luck! Was offered it there and then and now have my first ever Rolex!

Very happy and will try and do future business with the AD despite the distance to get up there!

Have added the freebie I received in addition to the standard Rolex glossy magazine.

That is one heck of a GADA watch. It’s on my radar as well (the 40mm).

Welcome to the Rolex owners club and congrats!
