Yes it is, from the 5164G. The navy 5650 strap is also a nice pairing as well as the 5164R brown strap.

I dont think I have ever worn this watch on the black strap for more than a few weeks!

great post! I also have the three straps available for the 5164. it’s amazing how the watch changes completely with each color! it’s like having three different watches in one.

My choice would also be 5167a in your case; for the exact same arguments bonsai-man mentioned.

Can't go wrong with 5164A especially now that it's discontinued.

If Patek wanted to, there could be much more: red, orange, green… Unfortunately they have a policy that prevents them from issuing more colors.

This is so nice! How did you get all the straps as Patek is very reluctant to sell them to anyone not owning the exact reference?
Especially the strap of the 5164G looks so great on your 5164A. Would love to have the colour for my 5167!!

The 5164a strap doesn't fit properly on the 5167a as it is too thick at the case end.

I know, and it is a shame. Especially since it does work the other way around. John Mayer's green strap on his 5164 is actually a 5167 strap.

But I really don't know how to find someone that owns one of the very few green 5167a and is willing to sell me a green strap haha.

BTW, just checked and they really sell for a pretty penny.

do 5167As since 2019 have a shorter lasting, dimmer lume? And does this apply for 5164As as well?

the 5164a always had the whiter less bright lume that the 5167a has now(c1)
Before that the 5167a had greener luminova that was brighter (c3)

Thanks! This makes the 5167a with C3 more preferable.

Same! Thought the grey blue strap on the G would be great for the 5164A as well

Very true but if watch has been serviced the hands are often replaced!

5167a all the way. I’ve been in this dilemma before. I tried in a 5164a and it’s way too thick. It’s a cool complication but I hated the date wheel, too hard to read and clutters the dial. The buttons on the side as well look like they can be activated by bending your wrist. They also look a little sus on how “waterproof” they are.

5167a is class, thin and light. Beautiful dial. Extremely legible and better lume.

Does a C3 watch get replaced with C3, while a C1 watch gets replaced with C1? Would the hour markers also be replaced?

Is this a downgrade? Isn’t C3 better than C1?

In my view yes but maybe some people prefer the white lume visually even if it's not as long lasting?
