What to buy next?

Currently love my small watch collection. I have:

JLC MUT Moonphase
Omega Speedmaster (hesalite)
Rolex GMT BLRO 126710 (oyster)
Rolex Submariner 124060

What is the sweet spot for folks on #? I feel like I have a good mix, but always fun to have a pursuit / research project for next buy. Any considerations or recommendations for next watch?

Something funky if you’re into it.

As you’ve played it pretty mainstream/conservative with all 4 of those options as what some people would default to for all of the following at a under $15k price point:

Diver
GMT
Chrono
Dress Watch

Not that this is bad at all, just might be fun to spice it up as a wildcard 5th option in my opinion

I would look at a DJ with the classic fluted bezel on jubilee. Either the 36mm or the 41mm will work depending on your preference. Blue is outstanding but white/silver/black also work.

That's about as close to a perfect collection as you can get. Maybe a Day-Date if you really need another

Agree with these guys. Along the lines of a DD, maybe something with a different type of bracelet, such as oyster flex, or fabric strap, like the FXD? I'm getting a LOT of mileage from mine these days.

That’s a perfect collection. I’m hoping to add a Moonwatch in the next couple of years. I would suggest looking at Zenith, Panerai for something a little different.

I like the idea of a dress watch, since everything you have is sporty. A Cartier tank or Santos would fill that void. If you want a Rolex, a Datejust on Jubilee with fluted bezel would be nice. The world is your Oyster, perpetually.

I think you’re set with that four. All great pieces, and make a complementary set. Love that you have the JLC master thin.

I like the idea of something with a 5 link bracelet. Maybe a DJ all rounder or perhaps a GRNRon Jubilee?

Agreed…what OP has is already great, but if that collection has him looking for more, I’d find a DJ with a fluted bezel on a Jubilee…maybe even a TT to mix it up from all of the SS.

Kat’s idea of a Cartier dress watch is also a good one. I love Rolex, and don’t own any Cartier, but I find their dress watches to be more attractive than Rolex’s, especially the Santos.

That JLC is sweet. I’ve been debating adding that to my collection. Love it.

dont see anything to add - maybe a cartier, but you could just stay where you are and see if you like the hobby for a few years

My wife got it for my 30th 5 years ago. It is a tremendous watch and I am still very impressed by her taste!

I’ve loved the hobby since 2014. Hopefully many years of enjoyment ahead!

Focusing on learning and appreciation of watches without ownership has been key to enjoyment for me, so I see the irony in looking for perspectives on new pieces.

I would go with a PM pieces if the budget is there or nice dress piece from another brand,
VC,AP,Patek or Cartier, if it’s a Rolex you want then a DJ36-41 or a Cellini.
