I had my DSSD in for service about 3 months ago and exact same experience. I reluctantly agreed to have the polishing done, very uncertain about it, but did it thinking I might sell it so wanted it looking like new.
It came back absolutely perfect and looked like a brand new watch. You could not tell it had been polished. It just looked new. I ended up keeping it! |
