HAHA that did make me laugh, what is even more funny is how a lot of people will end up standing in line for it. Granted I may be one of them if I see it in person, maybe some other variants will look much better. But as it stands, design aside, I would question its reason for being. Could they not have strapped a "jeans" strap to an aquanaut and called it a day?

The more and more I look at it, the more and more it looks like a toy. Like I expect it to be made of die-cast metal and meant to be worn by children pretending they have a Nautilus type watch....which meant to be an inside joke of the parents of such children who are "in the know" about watches.

It might have Patek Philippe's new Connoisseur Series of movements. Been suggesting it for years and maybe now that the market has turned negative, PP is finally upping the quality of their movements to compete with the modern big boys of independent watchmaking / horology.

A Bvlgari Octo with big date and Aqua blue slatted dial, interesting. PP might look better on bracelet, let's see what the bracelet does to the overall look and a true sports timepiece 100m waterproof rating.
