I'd go with the Daytona for sure.

Having had the Yacht-Master now for 3 months:
It’s a stunning watch. Don’t wear it often, usually rocking the Sub 124060 as daily.

The Daytona is not on my wrist that much. Usually go for the 126655 instead. After wearing a PM watch it feels kind of light and not that valuable anymore…
Not sure what do do. Buy a PM Daytona instead?

It's totally a matter of choice, but you can't go wrong with either of them, but I will go with the Daytona 116520 while I buy the YM later.

State of the collection. One slot is still free ;)

It is super hard to get good pics of the Yacht-Master. Often the case looks silver in pictures.

DD40 would also be a nice addition. But I don’t think I will be happy without an extension system. I used it daily on all my watches :/

Welcome to the forum. I own neither but covet the Daytona. One day…
I’d go for the Daytona because it is far more iconic, far more recognisable and if it’s important to you, a much surer bet long into the future (as long as condition is ok).

I get the appeal but it’d be an easy one for me to decide.
