My pet peeve is....

....ALL YOU NEWBIES buying up inventory that should have been ours / mine / us. You know, for us guys who were here decades before this recent bubble.

. sorta.

.
.

My actual wish, production / service reaches 99% of demand. Maybe you have to wait a week or three, but something like that.

Both! They usually come as a pair.

A radial brush that is poorly done results in a rather annoying sheen and numbers that start fading!

You do know that Rolex has never claimed that it’s supposed to. None of mine line up but have never given it any thought.

This 100%! Before joining this forum five years ago I´d never even been aware of this crown "issue", and how it upsets some people. My old Sub´s crown doesn´t align, and I don´t think it ever has done. I couldn´t care less. Still, we all see things differently, don´t we?

Not good for a 10K watch…I haven’t experienced this.

Rolex- The emphasis mainly on precious metal. Seems most attention and new releases involves PM of some kind. I get that that’s where the margin is, but wow us with some SS stuff too.

Watches in general- Slow roll dates. I need a somewhat quick and satisfying date change around midnight. I’ve gotten rid of some fine watches that had a slow date roll (looking at you Longines Zulu Time)

Rounding the case side and lugs in the premium models such as Daytona and GMT.

IRT Rolex, nothing really. Watches in general, I hate slow watches; I'd rather them be fast. Also, I don't like un-framed date windows.

Nothing. I've worn a s/s GMT for around 50 years. You could say, I'm a happy customer.

If one is not, entirely satisfied with every facet of any item, why on earth, would anyone, spend good money on it?

The PCLs and lack of Glidelock turned me off of the GMT. Also I don’t like how the bezel does not click like the Sub. Still not sure why you place PCLs on a pilot watch, inviting sun glare.

Very few in the catalog that have exhibition case backs. I love the exhibition backs and enjoy watching the movement….move….
They don't keep me up at night, but I have to agree.

Can't buy one when you need/want one except for paying extortionate prices.

Not one I bought but in 2020 I was tossing up between what became my 1603 and a 126200 - one of the things that I just couldn't get over is why the upper surfaces of the new Datejusts are polished. I get that it's all for show and bling but I wear my 1603 everywhere (when not wearing my Pelagos now) and I think the brushed upper surface looks great.

When my son was born back in '86 I bought me a Texas Timex (16013). He wears the piece now. My only complaint is that it hasn't aged as well as I have.
