Daytona PM OF or SS

Would you trade a Daytona SS Black 126500LN for a Daytona Black WG Oysterflex 126519LN? What are the pro’s and con’s?

Is it an even trade? Are you putting in cash?

I have both watches and can say they both have a place in the collection. I wouldn’t trade and hold on to what I have. Just my 0.02

I’m guessing you are paying cash plus watch with that trade?

Don’t you think they are two similar to have both? Pretty much the same dial except for the subdials

Which dial? How much extra boot? I can say if the ghost/ or even the gold pikachu it’s a definite yes. That being said the black 126500 is a damn nice watch. I think even nicer than the panda.

If it is an even or close to even trade do it. If you got the 126500 at retail you should be able to get the PM OF at retail too. I would hold until you can get the PM OF at retail and then decide which one you like better. I have a 126518 and I think it’s a lot better than a SS Daytona.

Wear your SS Daytona on a rubber strap for a week before you make a decision.

I wouldn't trade the SS 126500 for the 126519. Maybe the 126518 or 515.
The SS i would wear as my daily instead and just buy the other separate, if I could.

don't let go of the 126500ln black dial, it's a grail watch, versatile and yet elegant. the new steel bezel ring really gives the black dial the extra contrast that makes it a perfect daytona!

I wouldn't trade it, as i love a watch on a bracelet instead of a rubber band.

It would depend how much cash I suppose.

Not a fan of OF bands either, but to each their own

No. I prefer a full metal bracelet over OF.

I prefer the bracelet to the OF. You have a great watch and if it requires any significant money to do the deal, I would not.

There’s space in collection for both.

I would not trade, I would add.

I want the black reverse panda dial. This is why I’m looking to trade my SS Black as they are way too similar.

Looking at the market it looks like you will be adding about 10k. That one is a tough one.

If you’re all in for $26-$27k for it you would still be way under retail on the OF. If you can afford it and you like it I would do it. The dials on the OF are just so much better with the full subdials. I wish they did that for the SS versions.

I have not found that to be the case. SS Daytona the most comfortable watch I own, including OF PM Daytonas.
