Just wanted to bump this and thank the OP for posting about this with pictures. I finally got my 5-link today and it’s absolutely awesome!
Now I have no desire for a Rolex Pepsi. |

Funny how that happens. The 5 link is a great addition to the Tudor GMT, and the adjustability of the clasp so useful. Congrats!

You're welcome. And I agree, the 5 link really brings out the best of the GMT and Chrono. Hopefully they'll offer it this way at some point in time.

Agreed - Tudor has executed it well, and really bracelet adjustability is “table stakes” for a watch of this caliber and price. Should be on all Tudors at this point, though thankfully we have this workaround, courtesy of Dave!

I now have the five link bracelet on my Opaline GMT and my black and white dial chronographs. I thought about putting one on my Pepsi but decided against it as I really like the burgundy OEM leather

Thanks Dan. As you stated, it really does kick it up a notch, almost as if it is a whole new watch. I know it's probably just my imagination, but it seems to wear flatter on the wrist, and not so bulky. This may be due to the fact that the bracelet itself is thicker, making the watch seem more in proportion. Whatever it is, I love it!!! (and great pics, as usual).

Looks absolutely amazing. Never really considered the white dial GMT but those photos are making me reconsider.
Recently looking at the Tudor chrono black dial - does it seem to maybe not have the same effect there as the white dial? The white dial looks amazing as well. Also considering Harrods black bay and I think this would be awesome there. |

I think you're right. The center links are a bit larger in proportion to the outer links compared to a standard jubilee which gives the watch a slightly smaller profile. It has a nice balance and I love it too. dP

Nice post, looks great in the pics. I’ve been thinking doing this with the five link Frostners,
They have a 7 link too that looks great, but no adjustments :( The Tudor 5 link cost and availability is something to consider. |

My AD is now stocking the Five Link OEM Tudor bracelets. They are selling a lot of them according to my SA.

Has anyone tried putting the Tudor Chrono on the OEM GMT Rubber strap?

I've always liked the BB GMT Opaline, but never liked the limited adjustability of the oem bracelet. The oem 5 link looks amazing on that watch.

This thread has revised my hunt for a nice pre owned BBGMT. I always buy on bracelet, but I’m actually looking at non bracelet kits to save a few hundred bucks. I know that once I put the OEM 5 link on, I will never touch the standard oyster like bracelet.
The bonus is having “a” OEM bracelet won’t hurt resale if I move on. It’s like getting a discount on the 5 link!! |
