For me it’s not boredom, but more like moving chess pieces on a board. I’ve finally become comfortable tweaking my collection based mostly on what I wear over time and working towards more diversity.
I recently traded both 116 Daytonas for a Patek as I still have 5 Rolexes that I wear the most.
To be transparent, I prefer the 126 Daytonas and after giving it a bit of time and I feel the urge to replace the Daytonas I will.
It’s helped me keep the hobby fresh by continuing to hunt…

The thing about collecting is that there are so many options, between less expensive and very obtainable models from other Swiss manufacturers, to microbrands and even Kickstarter, if you're really brave (I did one of those).
