<<< Wheel of Fortune >>>

I did a search but since I’m not all that good at getting results I figured I’d post away.

My wife and I admit to watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy every week night. It’s our Ying and Yang

I noticed that Ryan Seacrest wears a vintage Daytona (at least I think it is).

This according to Bob’s Watches

We love wheel of fortune and jeopardy also!!

Unfortunately don’t watch them as often as we used to.

My wife & I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in the Polo Lounge of The Beverly Hills Hotel when we spotted Ryan Seacrest at a nearby table. I told my wife if that's as good as the celebrity sightings get, I'm disappointed.

Within minutes Vince Vaughan stopped by near our table to ask the waiter where the bathrooms were, followed shortly thereafter by Jennifer Aniston, who smiled at us w/ a quick "hello" as she walked by. Then Brian DePalma & Scarlet Johansson arrived after the premiere of The Black Dalia. Not bad for one night at The Polo Lounge.

It was amazing, aside from the celebrity encounters. My wife found a great deal for $325.00 per night [this was back in 2006]. We ended up spending $1K per day and it was well worth every penny.

The pool has underwater music piped in. You never saw anyone in the halls and the elevator doors were always open. The bathroom was huge w/ a shower large enough to park a car. For breakfast we headed down to the the classic 50's style dinner in the basement and asked for a menu. They said we have no menu, we'll make whatever you want. And they did. The air space above the hotel compound even seemed clearer.

But to drive down Sunset Strip in a convertible, on a beautiful sunny day, then see the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel sign, and knowing that's your destination, was pretty exciting for a couple Kentucky hillbillies.

You 2 look like a celebrity couple I’ll bet someone looked at you and thought, what show did he used to play on?

Haha, thanks, Jim!

If we sat at poolside at The Beverly Hills Hotel waiting to be discovered like Robert Evans, I'm afraid we'd still be sitting there.......................waiting.
