If sticking with Rolex… Day date 40 and GMT
Otherwise… I’d look for a 50k Patek

I would add a Pepsi on jubilee. A green bezel sub and with the $15k left over keep saving for a PM piece. If the money has to be spent now you could add a fluted jubilee Wimbledon Dj41. That would give you a very diverse collection. Give you land sea and air. Also have all your colors covered.

Yup this is the way.

Sell one of the Daytonas

Add an AP 15400ST white of black dial 28-30k blue dial 32-35k

Add yellow gold Sub 11 or 12 for 27k-33k

Now you have enough money left over to buy the wifey something nice so she doesn’t make you sleep on the couch for a week. And you won’t have to hide the second watch lol

Why do you want to add to a collection with 2 126500? The black and white Daytona are perfect for every occasion, and they are the pinnacle of Rolex. How do you add to a peak collection?

Hmmm...have you considered a PM GMT? You can get a new one under invoice at grays. I also like the idea of a DD.

Sell a Daytona, you don’t need 2.

I would then add something white gold, possibly a DayDate or a Submariner.

Explore another brand. With the money available, I’d be looking at Patek.

Keep the Tudor, that BB54 oozes cool and is a great beater within a lovely collection

You have $50,000 to add to this collection. What do you add?

Can’t agree with this sentiment, sorry.

I’d much rather have one Daytona than two, and spend the money on something that will provide me with a different option than another 40mm sports Chrono. It’s a bit like having two identical sports cars, one in black and one in white. Why?!

I’m the guy who sold my BLNR because I thought it was too similar to my Submariner, so I guess our collection habits and goals are all very different!

I see them for mid to high 40s for a mid 2015ish 15202 on MODA, more recent examples, produced 2-3 years prior to the 16202 are closer to $50k. There is a listing in TRF FS for 53 I bet you could negotiate lower or I can introduce you to the dealers I work with, just shoot me a PM. Prices typically creep up into the holiday season as individuals spend their bonus money and or buying holiday gifts. I've noticed this trend every year for quite awhile now. Hope this helps.

I am with you except the part that you sold BLNR for a Sub. I did the other way around.

Hard to argue with that logic.

Or, if trips weren't my thing (), I might consider ditching watches #1 and #3, adding the sub and an EXP 40, and the meteorite version of the BLRO.

Me too. i would add two vintage. A 5512/5513 sub and a 16520 Zenith Daytona as a lineage exemplifier to your 12 series Daytona’s.
