That's in stark contrast to posters like bear or 7sins who seem to have awesome connections (and therefore spent quite a bit of money) but just come across as nicer / decent human beings on an anonymous forum... Guess karma may exist after all

For bear : the watch for ME personally isn't fantastic but I appreciate you getting it and pulling it off... Different strokes for different folks!

I guess it's the 15720ST.OO.A009CA.01. Now that I am seeing the "official" pictures, I realize I am familiar with this piece, but it just looks so good in your picture...something about the way the light is catching the dial and especially the inner bezel.

I will actually wear more than 1 watch a day as some of you do as well.

Today I wore my AP 15510st on green rubber to the gym- I’ve really enjoyed it on the green rubber b strap and with it still under AP care I feel somewhat ok “losing it”. Afterwards I was messing around with my Remaster 1 and straps and took a pic next to my RM2.
Received a limited run strap from Hiroshige Japan- the same company owned by Kurono Tokyo and associated with Hajime Asaoka- a more famous Japanese independent. I have a few of the straps.

Appreciate all comments salty or not. This is a forum and as long as folks aren’t insulting people (I’m ok criticizing watches) I am all good :)

Congratulations on your new watch.
I will not agree with “saltyandwet”’s comments. However, the comparison with the Tesla cyber truck is not inaccurate. There are brutalist design elements in both. For my esthetic criteria, the RE2 just works, whereas the CT doesn’t. Maybe, the sheer size of certain brutalist creations (CT or the Boston city hall for example) makes them unattractive in my eyes.
The RE2 is a statement design piece. Enjoy it.

Congrats on a stunning piece!

I had a chance to drop in on the Geneva Phillip’s auction Day 2 last week. Here are some pics of the RM2 next to a rare two tone Journe as well as the upcoming Anoma piece belonging to the founder of the brand.

In general, everyone I met were pleasantly surprised at the RM2. From Auctioneers to industry veterans to watch friends. Many wanted to try it on and I would say if your wrist is 6.5 inches or more- it fits well. If you have a smaller wrist it will have more of a presence but can still be pulled off.

I can safely say I love the watch and will never part with it. Rather lose a few royal oaks versus such a unique piece.

Thanks for sharing!

It's definitely a conversation starter amongst the watch collecting community.

And definitely less controversial than the other geometrical watch from the other brand

Enjoy the RM2! Looking forward to the next RM!
