Nothing in 2024. I traded a couple of watches in 2023 for a BLNR and a VTNR and $4-5k out of pocket. I'm starting to hit the TT DJ phase of my life so who knows in 2025.

I went a bit silly after I had not bought anything for 10 years:
- Explorer 1, 40mm
- 126711CHNR GMT 2 ('Rootbeer')
- Tudor BB58 GMT

Well, Zach, what's "too much"?

The question in the title of the thread was how much TRF'ers spent. It was an open-ended question and the posters made their own assessment of "how much".

My answer is just the right combo of trades and cash. Putting a number on it isn't accurate.

Went from SS to TT. Strictly personal choice to get a TOG - the SS models seem be holding their value better in a softening market. So the value was right to trade into TT which isn't holding up as well (prolly never had to be true).

It would have been more fun to not ask how much, but to have the TRF members post pictures of their 2024 acquisitions...

I bought three watches for my kids! They're each having huge milestones, though two of these will be held to May of 2025 for their events. Bought in 2024 and not the most popular DJ models as you can see.

I bought a SkyDweller while I was in Poland this year. Dealing with GlobalBlue was a PITA, but it worked out well.

And I got my wife a beautifull DJ31.

...and yes I complained hard core about my ADs and their use of CRM and ability to actually manage relationships like true lux brands. By the way, despite this spend, they've never called me for what I've had on my list. No Pepsi, No SS SkyDweller, No DayDate, No Daytona, etc)

How much did you spend on Rolex in 2024

The years isn't over and there is more time to spend!

Just looked at that one on Rolex.com; I bet that will be a nice configuration for her! Dial on that one is rose instead of pink so slightly different shade but would pair nicely with the everose bracelet I’d bet!

Same here—$0 spent on Rolex this year! I've been focusing on appreciating the pieces I already have. It's been a good exercise in patience, especially with all the tempting new releases. Who knows, though? There's still time left in 2024... 😅

What about everyone else—are you finding it easier or harder to resist adding more to the collection this year?

I just sent in a DJ for RSC service but it is unclear if I will get it back this year. Expected cost is $700-$900.

Other than that $0.00 for 2024.

I have had a number of Rolex models on my ready-to-buy list with prices ranging from $11K to $65K and received no incoming AD calls.

I may go grey in 2025....I bought 4 non-Rolex watches in 2024 with one more possible before year end. In 2023 I bought 7 non-Rolex watches.

Annual watch spend ranges from $10K to $50K...

Rolex AD's are not getting their fair allocation of my annual watch spend. Their problem...

Just $11,300 for a DJ 41. That'll do me for this year and probably for a few years unless I get feverish for another.
