That's a good album.

Some of his songs are about the north east of England where I come from and they remind me of home.

My son introduced me to the Spotify app and I've been going through a total nostalgia phase ever since.
Jason and the Scorchers and Jason Ringenberg (solo) have been playing on my phone whenever I'm outside or tinkering by myself. Most of the music I had was old cassettes so I really hadn't been able to really listen like the old days but now with the Spotify I can.
I think my musical tastes must have peaked 30-40 years ago because there's nothing new that gets my blood pumping like country punk, hell-billy, cowpunk or whatever else folks may call it. But FWIW, Jason and The scorchers kind of started the movement back in Nashville blending Jason's twang and harmonica with Warner Hodges heavy metal guitar skills and are still the best IMO.
