Where to visit in Paris - Watches or Other

I'm going to France (Paris and Nice) in the near future, and looking for any recommendations on "must go" places, either watch related or not?

I'm already doing all the typical tourist stuff, but just looking for some hidden gems, or experiences that may be fun to do or see.

I'm sure we'll wander and shop and things like that in Paris, and probably visit the standard AD's and shops and things, and will definitely be stopping into the MB&F store there.

I hope you enjoy the trip Darren.

Lots of members here who reside in Paris and hopefully they’ll chime in.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence……beautiful village, not far from Antibes.

Juan-les-Pins for people watching, horrendously overpriced cafe au lait…..there used to be an AD too.

We spent a week there Oct past and here are a few out of the usual places we saw:
1-Pere-Lachaise cemetary-it's huge, 110 acres, 70,000 graves and hundreds of thousands more buried there. The day we were there was overcast and windy with ravens flying all around and cawing. Very surreal and worth a visit...Google maps was best for finding specific graves.

2-Hotel de la Marine-sister building to the hotel Crillion along E edge of Place de la Concorde. Home to one of Louis 16th dignitaries. Not crowded and lots of really cool pieces.

3-Sante-Chapelle cath-also on Isle de la Cite north of Notre Dame. Amazing and beautiful stained glass worth seeing. We attended a nightime violin concert there also.

4-Conciergerie-formerly a prison and in heavy use during the Revolution. Third and final prison where Maria A stayed before execution. Oldest clock in Paris is on the south outside wall.

Also take a night cruise on the Seine, Musee d'orsay was excellent, and though not for everyone we took stairs up the Eiffel tower as far as alowed. Hope this helps..

Thanks for the recommendations.

We do have a dinner cruise planned on the Seine, our hotel isnt too far from the Musee d'Orsay, and we have a tour to go up the eiffel tower and Louvre, and Versailles, and some food and wine tours, etc.
