Icon5 I think I've bought a Fake Rolex, I need your opinions

Hello dear members,

I was so happy to win an auction for my first Rolex Submariner, but I think now that the watch is a fake.

I would please love to read your thoughts on it. I only have few photos since I did not receive the watch yet.

Thanks a lot.

Cheers,
aserlu

Yes that's clearly a fake.

Is this a fake....

Ouch, that is hard on the eyes. I am not an expert but I have owned enough real Rolex watches to say I am about 99.99% sure that is not a real Rolex.

I'm not an expert but it certainly does not look authentic to me based on observations of the lume plots/indicies, clasp constuction, bracelet links, and the odd features of the seconds hand. If you thought it was real, sorry. But if you like it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Best of luck

just curious, how much did this cost you?
That just may be the worst looking fake I have seen!
Literally nothing right about it

Not to be smart but if you even had the slightest idea this was real it's best you leave your watch buying endeavors to a pro.
Pay a tad bit more and deal with professional sellers

^^This^^

There are plenty of Youtube Videos showing the difference between a fake and a real Rolex. Educate yourself and deal with reputable sellers.

There is absolutely nothing genuine I see in those pics that came from Rolex.

If this makes you even remotely think it’s real, only buy from a large dealer. This is a very bad fake. I can’t even find something that’s remotely close to looking authentic. Nothing.

Look at the gap from the lug link to the next one down. No way is that a Rolex.

OP- Seriously, if you even thought this was real, you may want to evaluate your watch buying decisions. Go to an authorized dealer, get on line, look at the Rolex.com website and take time time on this forum. That watch is SO FAR off.
