titanium and a tobacco dial
Their classic models do remain cool and timeless, no matter if it's made 28 years ago or today
The brushed titanium is nice and a tobacco dia really goes brown brown to black depending the sunlight ![]() ![]() ![]() a bit more macro .. While this is a SAUSAGE dial and not a SANDWICH, if you zoom enough you'll notice the sausage is also a bit sunken so reminds to a sandwich Most noticeable when looking at the '6' ![]() ![]() the movement .. Nothing spectacular to see. Probably pretty reliable but for high end finishing you need to look at brands known for this (Erased all the unique numbers) As for ETA vs In-house ... I slightly prefer in-house but it's definitely NOT a must ![]()

Considered all of these except the 00036 because of the price
Once expensive but it still is way too expensive imo Wanted a seconds hand at 9 but that was not a must The inhouse is imo just a bit more special than an ETA and the 8 days is just nice to have… so therefore the 564 …. But can’t go wrong with any of them The brushed grey titanium matches very wel with that tabacco dial. Only thing I would change is the darkness of the dial. A bit less dark would imo be better it’s often black

strap change ...
when you allow the dial to catch as much sunlight as it can ... That dial really turns brown :-) ![]()

Great pics!
![]() Ti and brown dial is a killer combo for Panerai. I’ve occasionally thought of a 118. ![]() |

That 176 is starting to be on my mind but I do love the P5000 movement in my 914. Makes no sense to have both and sandwich dial is a must for me.

Just picked up this 564 a couple weeks ago. Agree with all of your observations, great piece.
Having owned other steel bettarini references, the fully brushed titanium wears so comfortably and is very stealthy. Absolutely love this one. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
