Icon5 Rolex SD 16660 matt dial.-

Hello,

I'm a new owner of my first Rolex, a 16660 SD...!!

My watch is the serial number 803XXXX but have a normal glossy surrounds dial, but some expert say me that the right dial for my watch must be a Matte.

I want to ask how much I can experct to pay a matte dial for my 16660...??

How much I can ask for my sourrounds dial..??

There are someone that have one for sale at great price..??

Thank you and best regards,

Juri

Err buddy Juri...presently...
it is NOT definitely a must that your 8.0mil case series 16660...
is fitted with Matte Tritium Dial 16660...

BUT originally from Rolex factory...your watch with 8.0mil case...
was fitted with Matte Dial variant...

IF you see the need to make your 16660 SD Watch to be absolutely Period Correct...
like how it came out from Rolex factory before...
you may choose to buy a correct Matte Dial variant...
when it becomes available.

The Price range for such a 16660 Matte Tritium Dial...would cost upto USD1,500 or so...
BUT it could be harder to find...due to its rarity....

The one Glossy WG Surround 16660 SD Dial that you might have now...
could be sold or exchanged...for upto USD300 or so...
depending on its conditions...BUT safe always that it MUST have...
"SWISS - T<25" plots under the 6 o'clock marker...

Hopes the above helps...

Thank you for your answer Orchi...

my sourround dial have the tritim SWISS < T25 mark... so it is correct for the period... but I think that the correct is a matte dial... and I love it too, so I hope to find it if possible.

You know where I can find one around the price that you say me..??

There are a website or a person that sell dials who I can ask about it..??

Thank you and best regards,

Juri
