I really love some of the older Air King Dates. Anyone here have one? Any pictures?

Hi Lauren,
Here's mine on an ostrich strap (it came on a solid link Oyster bracelet but I like the strap look sometimes!). It's a Ref. 5700 from ~1983 in a 34.5 mm case. Enjoy!

Very handsome. Is the dial "silver" or some other variation of? I love vintage watches on a leather band. What do you think about this one?

Thanks! Yes, it's quite nice. There are times when I love it to bits, then others when I prefer a 'regular' Air-King, and then others when I prefer a 'Date' model, but that's what makes the world go 'round! (They're all somewhat variations on a theme being approximately 34 mm cases) The dial is silver with a 'soleil' pattern (rays of pattern which emanate from the center, you can see a bit of this if you look close). Interesting older one you've pointed out but I'm afraid without a close-up photo it's hard to say much... The substituted case back would concern me though. Be well.

ok whats the diff between the AK date and the OP date? Both are 34 mm. Is it just dial options, or movement too?
