NEED HELP:Is this 6542 service dial fake?
Hi guys, I need some help on identifying this 6542 service dial if it's fake or not, it has silver glit writing. The hands doesn't seems original but I am a rookie with the 6542, please help me because I might pick this watch up. I need a second opinion. thank in advance .

 The features of the Dial...are looking similar to the early RSC service dial... What is the watch case serial #?...???,xxx...(1st 3 digits is sufficient) But...please post a closeup macro shots of the Rolex Coronet...SWISS-T<25... n the Small All Red 24hr GMT Hand... to see if indeed in Silver GILT or not...

It looks OK to me but I am not sure about the silver writing. If it is a fake it's is a darn good one. JMHO =) maverick

Please take better pictures in natural light and post. I am over 80% that the dial is good based on the pictures you have posted but to be 100% we really need better pictures.The small all red 24 hour hand is not something you see everyday.

But would you be able to post a close up picture of the All Red Small Arrow? As buddy Mike has amply pointed out...it's a RSC Service Matte Dial... with all plots in...White paint...

Please humor my ignorance here, but can someone explain what a "service dial" is? Is it a dial that was replaced by RSC? and if so, how can you tell?
