movement loose ?

winding my 1600 tonight it feels like the movement is rocking about

any suggestions ?

If there's anything loose, I would go straight to the RSC.

ok its not the movement that loose
however the crown is almost falling out of the watch

can anyone tell me how to tighten this up ?

yes know its fuzzy

I have now had a good look in the back and the movement is loose

it now just comes out
the trouble is if you put it back in the date window does not align up at all :(

really havent got time for this to goto an AD as I sold it :( it thing obviously doenst want to goto its new home :(

Well 2 things could be wrong the set screw for your detente is loose 2nd it's broken it's a 50/50 thing. Either way it has to be openned up from the back reinsert the stem carefully don't screw it down at this point now if you look at the movement close to where the stem comes in you'll see a little screw use a number 80 screw and tighten if it tightens you're all set however if it continues to spin the set lever screw is broken then bring it to a professional for repair. The movement had to be almost completely taken apart for this procedure. Hope it helps Rik
