Rolex 1655 Explorer 2 orange hand

Hi to all ,please help me price up a Rolex 1655 Explorer (Steve Mcqueen).
Serial no;-5454646
I think paperwork & box present.
Looks exellent condition,exept few slight surface marks to some links,
Seller wants £12500.

What do some of you experts on here think?

The waters can get pretty deep with references like the 1655. A photo or two helps a lot.

Have to agree with Mike seen them sell from £8900 to £10200, top one was around £16000, but that was a mint example with all the original package bits and recent full Rolex service

Condition is paramount... That seems a bit high unless it has provenance and is in top condition...

However, they are much harder to get in some parts of the world lthan others so the price will fluctuate.....
