Don't wear your Daytonas with the pushers unscrewed

One of my pushers fell off after leaving it unscrewed for several months of daily wear. I was lucky to have caught it while in a cab, just happened to check the time and noticed the pusher askew, touched it and it fell off.

Shanghai RSC was nice enough to put it back together and pressure test while i waited for US$75, took about 20 minutes. Had to remove movement to access the screw that holds the pusher to the case. He did it while i watched, this guy was very good with screwdrivers and tweezers.

Watchmaker said to keep the pushers screwed in while not in use to prevent from happening again.

Strange , I didn't think you can remove the locking screw on a pusher without removing the whole thing from the inside of the watch ?

The crown of the pusher is held there by a screw on the inside, if that screw comes loose, the crown comes off. The pusher is still there, just the bit that you push down comes off.
