Rolex at Gem Jewelery Show Report

At the Dulles Expo Center in Va this weekend.
Spent a good 3 hours yesterday browsing and understanding consumers behavior in buying.
Many diamond and gold dealers and several with Rolex, Breitling, Panerai, Patek Philppe, Cartier, Zenith, Ferrari.
Heard comments from dealers to potential buyers
"I can change the dial color right away if you buy it",
"Do you like this with diamond bezel? Give me $$$ extra and I'll put it on for you."
In the 3 hours there nosing around I did not see any money exchanging hands for any of the above brands.
There are between 50 to 100 Rollies there many were just SS DJ and TT old ones.
No CREAM of the Crop $50K Factory types.
Many were dressed up with new bezels and dials.
I just concentrated on the Daytonas and could not justify means to buy one.

Tomorrow is the last day of this Gem Jewelery Show. Perhaps dealers will be willing to negotiate for a better deal.

Just my humble report about my little passion.

If this is a nonsense and wasting bandwidth please do let me know and I'll shut up in my next adventure should I see one.

I sure do like to see reports like that coming in be it auctions or for large Estate Sales.

Incidentally there is a large Estate Auction tomorrow in Chevy Chase, MD.
Yep. Rollies will be offered there.
