Last Call

Have a father/ daughter dance tonight [even though I don't dance or have a daughter] and wearing this GMT II classic.
Tomorrow, with the change in daylight savings time, a visit to my watchmaker is in order to change the bezel to summer colors.
Out w/ the coke [sorry Larry] and in w/ the pepsi.

I kinda like the idea of "seasonal changes" of the bezel, pretty cool!

Have a good time at the father/daughter dance tonight without dancing or a daughter.

Hey Dan, you wearing a tux tonight? Is that a hint of Aruba tan I still see? My wife and I loved Aruba, too bad we missed you by a day because I would have loved getting together with you.

Have fun tonight, your niece is lucky to have you! Best regards.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. The dance was lots of fun, crowded, and loud. My niece is beautiful, a great student, and it was an honor to go with her.

No tux, in fact, I found out the night before the dance had a country theme. So under the houndstooth jacket and modern abstract Miro print tie, I wore jeans and cowboy boots.
With one day in Aruba for fun and sun no time for a real tan. Should be earning my cycling tan soon though.
Sorry we missed you while there, next time.

Thats funny Dan, I have no kids, but for some reason I always get stuck with everyone elses kids on "take your child to work day". I usually start the day off with them with:
1. a shoe shine at Cliffs at 40th & Chestnut
2. a trip to a cigar shop
3. lunch at Mortons
4. the rest of the day screwing around at the club.

Go figure!
