Icon20 How do the hands stack on a GMT IIc?

I read that one way to tell fakes is by the stacking order of the 4 hands. Is this correct? If so what is the correct order?

A Rolex GMT IIc has the 24 hr hand between the hour and minute hands..

Fakes have the 24 hr hand on the bottom

You're still correct.

There are fakes with the "correct hand stack". In fact the GMTIIC is one of the best-faked Rolexes out there (very few "tells", mostly loupe-level stuff). So be careful.

You are still correct.

Bottom – hour hand
Next up – 24 hour hand
Next to top – minute hand
Top – second hand

I'm not kidding when I say I read this in reverse order. I looked at my GMT-IIc (conveniently on my wrist) and saw the first order, and thought: "Why would my AD sell me a fake." I must have looked at the watch five or six times before I re-read you post. Whew!
