Need help with this watch
Well yesterday my father give me this watch, he told me that he bought it around 30 years ago. So i just want to know if somebody knows the model of the watch because i really dont know anything about watch. I think that its going to be difficult to identify the watch because its an old watch.
On the bracelet has this numbers 78350 571 but i dont have any idea of the meaning of these. Here are some pictures. |

It's a Daytona and it should be a 6263 model and you can find out by taking the band out at 12:00 ... if the watch is original it has a very high value... little over $30K- $55K based on condition original parts and paper...

What a nice gift! Do some 'googling' about the " Rolex Daytona ", and you
should be able to find quite a lot about the watch. Its pretty much the top of the line watch for Rolex. This thread on our forum is a good place to start -- http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=33564 It looks like a very nice looking Daytona. I (and many others) actually prefer these older/classic designs to the ones they are selling now - you can check them out on Rolex's web site.

Your a lucky guy! That's a nice watch! I'd have it checked out by a Rolex professional, and DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING, before having it looked at by someone who knows what they are doing. This watch could be highly collectable in a near original condition. Thanks for the pictures.

The bezel, and pushers are a little different, but the dial, hands, and fonts are a match!
