I prefer the TT Blue. For me, it is the more elegant combination. In the end, it's all personal choice. Best of luck in choosing.

The TT Black is a powerful watch. I enjoy looking at it. For myself I own a SD and an LV Sub in the prof. models.

Again, no matter how many thousands of times this question is asked, it is always this for me:

Whatever the choice, remember the final choice is YOURS and YOURS alone. Why should you have to depend on others to choose for you?

While the poll is virtually a tie, why not just go with your own instincts and see which one appeals to you more. Take your wife or partner along for some advice on how the watch looks on you.

Be happy with your choice....that's all that really matters in the end.

Good luck, pal - JJ

If you buy a watch based on a poll, there's something not right with that. The blue IMHO kicks everything up a notch. It definitely is flashier and more vibrant looking. I have no idea what you're going for, but when I felt it was time for me to have a watch with any gold in it, I figured I should get the one that really spoke up when I put it on. And that blue is such a beauty in person... the color is practically alive.

In all fairness, the Black TT Sub is a lovely watch as well. If I ignore my aversion to the combo... I can see where it definitely is more elegant and reserved.

If I could assign them personalities; The Black attends an event to mingle and take in the scene, while the Blue shows up late and PARTIES.

Well, since you already have a BLACK dial SS Sub-date, wouldn't you like to have the BEST of both worlds?

I used to have a TT Blue back about 7 years ago, and I would CONSTANTLY get stopped and asked.. "Is that a REAL Rolex" by total strangers.. it garnered too much attention for me. And while I do love it's looks (I actually like the contrast of the gold on blue) but I opted to sell it. I've only now purchased another TT watch, a black on gold Anniv. GMT II.

For me, Black

Lately I have been considering the 2 Tone Submariner and although I think the blue looks fine, for me it's actually a "no brainer" and if I wind up going with the Submariner 2 Tone, I am definitely going with the Black because I think the combination is classic and looks very nice. I live on the West Coast of the US and I tend to see more with the black dial than the blue, but I do see both. Good luck.

I just was on another thread where they have the blacked out submariner... I wonder how that'd look as a TT Submariner?

What a close election result. TT Black wins by 1... You know, after all this you better post some niiice pics of the watch when you get it home, Nko.

When's your due date?

The blue for the TT, but for a SS, I would only want to wear the black.

Late for the poll but Blue for me. The black looked great but didn't "grab" me like the blue did. That being said, I consider myself fortunate to own either.

That's 31-31

It's still 30-31. Did you vote for the Blue yet, Allen?

Definitely, there are watch guys and then there's the rest of them. 30-31 or 31-31 just shows that there's at least that many TT fans in here. Quite frankly it's better that the black one won... I always root for the underdog.

It's kinda like seeing the soccer mom next door win the Miss America pageant.
